Chevron Skirts for every Age!

If you can't tell, we love chevron + maxi skirts. We wanted to show you that EVERY age can wear them! Each of us styled our own outfits to reflect our age and how we would wear the cute outfits. Our age ranges for 20's, 30's, 40's and fabulous 50's! 

50's: We love how she picked things that are fun and color coordinating. Look at that fabulous black cardigan that adds fun ruffle layers to the outfit.

20's: Think trendy and out of the box! Watch our fashion color wheel video to learn why I paired these colors with each other (Hint-they're complementary). I love to layer so I added the cardi and bow belt to the outfit. I also mixed prints with the polka dot and chevron-- very brave-- but I really liked how it turned out and topped the outfit off with fun heels!

Transform from Casual to Date Night

We have another great how-to video on taking one top from a casual day of working to looking glamorous for date night! I love how different the pink looks paired with different colors. It goes to show, when choosing your outfit it comes down to the simplest things like the color of the cami underneath to give your outfit a completely different look. In high school and college I always had girls say, "I never see you wear the same thing twice!" Well... look again, I reuse the same top but pair it with different pieces and I have a brand new outfit everyday! Lucky me :)

Understanding the Fashion Colorwheel

Color is so fun to understand! We have put together a video to explain how we use the color wheel in our fashion. Isn't it fun how you can use the color wheel to understand which colors to use together. This is very helpful when you look at your closet you will know which things you can pair with each other. Color popularity is always changing with season, but hopefully now you understand why fashion pairs certain colors with one another.

Make it Neutral / Make it POP

Keep it Neutral:

Naturally, you look at these cute Chevron Cardis and think-- I can wear that with black... or white... If you like wearing more neutral colors think outside the box and think about trying a mauve brown, different shades of grey or go crazy and try a peach!

Keeping it neutral makes a very sleek and classic look. We love keeping things simple. 

Make it Pop:

Don’t be afraid to add color! You can add pops of color with a scarf, necklace, or an undershirt. It's important to understand which colors compliment one another and draw inspiration from fashion blogs and magazines. See which colors stars are wearing and pay special attention to color combos.

Instead of finding the same tone of navy blue in the cardigan we found a complimentary light blue  to add another color dimension to the outfit.
